Cavos Products Visitor Policy
As part of the condition of entry to our premises please take a moment to review a number of important points for your safety and health.
If you have recently been suffering from any infectious condition, please notify the person that you are visiting.
If you are required to enter our production area the following rules must be observed.
Hands must be washed at the entry point to the production area.
All technicians must be licensed and qualified prior to engaging any task.
Personal Protective Equipment (ppe)
It is a requirement of the Cavos Products food safety program that all
visitors must wear PPE if entering the production area. Protective clothing
will be supplied if required.
Housekeeping for Service Providers
The worksite and surrounding areas must be kept clean and tidy at all
times, and any safety or fire hazards must be removed promptly (e.g.
flammable materials and garbage).
Rubbish must be removed progressively to an appropriate skip bin on site.
Under NO circumstances are contractors to dump rubbish on site.
Contractors should also remember safety actions such as replacing lids and
caps on containers, wiping up spills, removing or bending-over nails or
bolts and removing other dangerous or protruding objects.
Please report any lost equipment or parts to the QA Office.
Emergency Procedures
In the event of an emergency on site, you must comply with all instructions
given by Emergency Wardens, particularly if an evacuation is required. You
must also present to your contact for a head-count.
Assembly points / muster area is located in the circuit outside of the
factory on Wordie Place straight out if you are exiting from the front of
the factory and follow the road for approximately 20m. It is important to
remember where this area is, in the event of a fire or other emergency.
Incident and injury reporting
Cavos Products recognizes that contractors will have their own reporting
requirements to fulfill their health and safety obligations. However, it is
essential that ALL accidents, incidents and identified hazards are reported
to the Front Office as soon as possible.
You accept these conditions when entering the premises of Cavos Products. Please sign the visitor's book upon entrance
COVID UPDATE:
- DO NOT enter the Cavos products premises if you are unwell or have been exposed to COVID-19
- Visitors must take a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) if required on site at Cavos products.
- All Visitors must wear a mask at all times.
- You must keep your distance from others at least 1.5 metres
- Your temperature may be recorded upon entry to the premises of cavos products
- At all times please maintain your personal Hygiene and use the sanitiser available onsite
